Youth Philanthropy

Youth POWER is a youth philanthropy program of The Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation begun in 2001. The program has three primary objectives:

• To provide a role for young people as valuable contributors now, as well as essential leaders in the future
• To ensure that young people will have opportunities to establish habits of volunteerism and philanthropy
• To provide Linn County organizations with the resources they need to address problems and opportunities specific to youth.
